COCA has paid a special attention to its professional relationships in bilateral, international and regional level, from the point of its deepen belief on the importance of those relations to exchange audit experiences and knowledge to develop audit performance through out following up the best audit practices spread in the profession community. There are some images reflecting COCA concern to strengthen the relationships and the role COCA might play to contribute in the professional development, in general, they are as the following:
  1. Establishment of the Technical Cooperation General Department followed, directly, by COCA President’s Office. It aims to enhance COCA outside relationships to be considered as COCA Gate opened to the outside world in order to gain as much benefits as possible from the best practices, professional experiences and technical grants provided by the international institutions to build COCA institutional capabilities and to coordinate COCA contributions and participations in the professional development.
  2. COCA has a regional and international membership as bellow:
    1. INTOSAI: COCA has a membership in this organization since 1980 due to the full terms of reference of the membership in such organization as an independence supreme audit institution administratively and financially. Since that time, COCA contributes efficiently in most important events, activities and programs that INTOSAI organizes, as well as the periodical conferences, it held every three years including the preparation of country papers and heading some sessions such as discussion of the technical themes submitted to the conference, COCA also contributes in providing opinions and proposals about a lot of issues, professional subjects, targeted strategic plans to develop the professional work… The role that COCA plays in contributing in the activities and and programs of this organization is enhanced through COCA's memberships in a number of committees and its working groups, they are as below:
      1. Privatization Committee, since 1992
      2. Public Debt Committee, since 1998
      3. Capacity Building Committee, and some of its sub-committees,
      COCA is also a member in the steering committee as a representative of ARABOSAI. It , as well, is attentive in to contribute, efficiently, in the development programs that the (IDI) implements which is considered as the organization tool of training through the contribution of the preparation of the strategic plans for this institution or in the contribution and participation in the training programs and scientific seminars that this institution organizes especially in regard with the Long Term Regional Training Program
    2. ARABOSAI: COCA is a member in the ARABOSAI since its establishment in 1976 and participates in most of its events and activities such as: general conferences, regular assemblies which are held every three years, with preparing regional working papers and training plans or the ARABOSAI strategic planning as COCA is a member in the associations, committees and working groups related to ARABOSAI. COCA hosted some of those events and activities for instance; meetings of the Governing Board and the Training and Scientific Researches Committee and, later, it hosted the 9th General Assembly of the ARABOSAI (May 2007). In addition, COCA hosted some training programs in cooperation with the ARABOSAI and the IDI... Currently, COCA has been positioned the Head of Governing Board since May 2007- 2010.. It also participates in the membership of the Committee Training and Scientific Research, the Financial Audit Journal Committee and Overall Strategic Planning Team of ARABOSAI, Strategic Planning Team of Training and Strategic Planning Team of IT.
    3. ASOSAI: COCA has been related to the ASOSAI membership since 1983. It participates in the general conferences every three years, COCA participates as well in preparing the regional working papers about different subjects in the conference, additionally, it participates in training activities that the organization organizes through the training specialists who are qualified fro the Long Term Regional Training Program (LTRTP) that the ASOSAI held under the patronage of the (IDI) . As well as, COCA participated in the ASOSAI research regarding the Audit Quality Management System (7th research) including the hosting the events of one of the meetings which is confirmed in the 10th ASOSAI conference that held 2006 in Shanghai- China.
    4. Asian Ombudsman Association: COCA is considered as a founder of this organization establish since 1997. COCA participates in its annual conferences which aim to reform the systems and anti-corruption, protection of the public properties and strengthening the cooperation links between the SAI’s members. However, after the establishment of the Supreme National Authority of Anti Corruption (SNAAC), COCA finds that this authority is the suitable one to have a membership in such association.
