The Central Organization for Control and Auditing aims to:

• Maintain effective control over public resources to ensure efficient, economical and effective utilization management.
• Contribute in developing Performance auditing and the accounting and auditing profession of auditees.
• Provide the President of the Republic, the Parliament and other users with the most important and appropriate information through issuance of independent, objective, and reliable audit reports on the basis of generally accepted accounting and auditing and auditing principles and standards.
